As a Content Consultant and Branding Expert, I engage in many clients discussions. After the detailed discussion, our designers start with designing logo accordingly. Colors that are used in the logo are taken as primary standard colors to be followed in all promotional aspects like business cards, websites, leaflets, pamphlets, brochures, etc. During 2014, when Telangana State is formed as the 29th state of India, Telangana State Government, Telangana State Power Generation Corporation (TSGENCO), Telangana State Police Department and Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) were working on official Logos / Emblems. I got rare opportunity to work with Telangana Government to contribute content. I contributed “Logic of Logo” script for those FOUR official logos.
First let me briefly tell you the significance of Logic of Logo in branding.
- Logic of Logo explains the various colors used in design of the logo along with its meaning.
- Further, it denotes the various graphical elements used the logo along with their relevance.
- It also explains about various punchlines / catchphrases used in logo along with their significance.
- These scripts of Logic of Logo are used in presenting the logos and getting the final approvals.
- Majority of business / governance organisations include them on their websites and gazettes for future reference.
I am going to share my experience of writing Logic of Logo for those four major Government establishments in four separate articles for the benefit of idiya.net and storyhut.net readers.
